Public Transit App Integration (NDA)

Duration: 4 Weeks | Under the guidance of Thea Kluge Carter, Nina Polson, and Avani Agarwal

Problem: How might we transform a train transit app into a multi-transit commuter app in India, catering to diverse transportation needs and seamlessly integrating various modes of travel for an enhanced commuting experience?

My Impact

Created tailored wireframes specifically for Android users, ensuring a seamless and optimized experience on the platform.

Collaborated closely with UX researchers, product managers, and engineers, incorporating their insights and research findings to drive informed design decisions.

Utilized user research data and testing provided by team to draft comprehensive wireframes that align with user expectations and needs.

Developed intuitive wireframes, aiming to maintain consistency and cohesiveness throughout the app while carefully balancing the need for change and innovation.

My Learnings

Visual Impact: Using mockups effectively facilitates conversations with stakeholders, enabling better communication on design requirements, feasibility, and timelines. Low-fidelity concept mockups were instrumental in conveying initial ideas to engineers, product managers, and UX researchers.

Scenario Specificity: Well-defined scenarios are vital for designing robust workflows tailored to specific industries. Delving into scenario specifics and incorporating detailed information allows for the creation of more effective design solutions.

User’s Point of View: By leveraging familiarity with public transportation in India I could enhance the UX design process. By empathizing with users and considering their experiences, I crafted an intuitive and user-centric experience.

Collaborative Insights: Engaging in discussions and collaborating with different stakeholders helps gain valuable insights, leading to more informed and effective designs decisions.
